Single and Double Beam

Features single beam instrument
- Low cost
- The basic purpose of measuring A,% T or C on a separate wavelength
- 100% Q (0A) must be set at each wavelength
- It can be used to examine the spectra

Features double-beam instruments
- Used to examine the spectra at higher wavelengths (190-800nm)
- Can produce spectra A vs. λ,% T vs. λ, or a derivative spectra 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
- Can be used for measuring A or% T only in a certain wavelength.
